Get into the Christmas Spirit with Unique Gifts That Support The Neighborhood School This Christmas, The Neighborhood School is selling unique ceramic Christmas ornaments featuring the original art work of many local artists. Additionally, two CD's - the 2007 "Joy to the World" CD of favorite Christmas hymns; and the 2008 "Piano Hymns and Gospel Favorites" - are also available while supplies last. Both feature Michael Varner on the piano.
These gifts are easy to order and send and are a great way to simplify your holiday gift giving while supporting TNS's mission and helping change lives!
For a minimum donation of $20 per gift, TNS will package each ornament with a personalized gift card to each individual on your list informing them that a gift has been made in their honor. They will also handle the addressing and mailing of each ornament! How easy can it be?
TNS thanks these generous artists - Martha Billons, Lia Gordon, Ruth Morris, Megan Hurdle, Jan Boucek, Paige Thompson, Adair Parthenais, Angela Weems, and Anna Wunderlich for their beautiful creations. TNS also thanks Michael Warner and Seize the Clay for their generous donations of time and materials.

The Neighborhood School
Fifteen years ago, God placed a burden on the heart of Mrs. Jo Walt for the hurting children in our community. The result was the creation of The Neighborhood School to offer a Christian education for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. She targeted the Binghampton area of Memphis, where many of the school’s children had fallen between the cracks in public school and many were destined to be dead or in prison by the time they reached 16 if no one
intervened. We believe that The Neighborhood School is a unique model for urban education in America.
The School’s Purpose The school exists to be used by our Lord to give real hope to children who struggle in a traditional classroom setting and who desperately need the love and individual support provided by The Neighborhood School. The Neighborhood School Programs
We are a non-profit (501(3)c corporation that is supported by individuals, churches, and foundations that believe in what we are doing. Each gift to the school is tax-deductible.
